Floreat Athena 2025 Miniroos Trophy Day  Get ready to celebrate an amazing season at our Miniroos & Clusters Trophy Day! 🌟 New Date: Sunday 21st September 2025   ⚽ Clusters (U6–U8): 10am – 12pm ⚽ Miniroos (U9–U12): 12pm – 2pm   Every registered Clusters and Miniroos player will enjoy a free sausage sizzle, icy pole and juice box 🥳. To help us with catering, please make sure to register your child by selecting a free ticket. Parents, guardians and siblings are welcome too! 🌭 You can pre-purchase extra sausage sizzles through TidyHQ so nobody misses out. Drinks will be available from the bar with softies available from 10 and full bar from 11. Please note there will be no additional food sales on the day with extra sausage sizzles needing to be pre-purchased. FAFC Juniors Trophy Night 2025 Join us at Litis Stadium Clubrooms as we celebrate the 2025 season with all our Junior JDL & JCL teams (U13–U17)! ⚽ Saturday 20th September ⚽ 5–9pm   🎤 Team presentations kick off at 5:30pm, with each coach giving a short season wrap-up to highlight their team’s achievements. 🥙 Enjoy a delicious souvla dinner and dessert (free for players, $20pp for family members). 🥅 The fun continues with an on-pitch crossbar challenge (with prizes!) and plenty of space for a friendly kick-around. 🍹 The bar will also be open for parents and supporters to enjoy. This is a great night for players, coaches, team managers, and families to come together, celebrate, and wrap up another fantastic season of football at Floreat Athena. 🎟️ Players, coaches and team manangers' meals are free, but please register for a ticket. It's on!  The 2025 Athena Quiz night.  Grab 7 friends, and book a table of eight for a fun filled Friday night of thinking, eating and drinking.  Tickets are only $200 for a table of 8.  Bar open.  Limited number of tables available so book now!

Following training on the stadium pitch the U7s and their families are invited up to the Clubrooms for Dinner.  To assist the volunteers make sure food is ready to serve at 6.00pm we kindly request you pre-order via the below link. The Bar and clubrooms will be open from 5.00pm, so take advantage of the premium viewing and settle in to the warmth to watch your children train.

Saving the best til last - our Athena Miniroos (U9s to U12s) Season Launch.  Split over two nights, Wednesday 30 April and Thursday 1 May, starting straight after training at 6.00pm we are going super family friendly for this event with a sausage sizzle on both night at BRITANNIA RESERVE (Leederville Cricket Clubrooms). So please follow your team manager's advice and pre-order your food for the night that your team trains on - Wednesday or Thursday.  Family and friends welcome.

To those teams who are already deep into grading and those teams who start formal training next week - Welcome to Season 2025! A big thank you to the mums, dads and extended family who are busy dropping off and picking up players for training and matches.  Your kids don't appreciate it, but we do! Before we get any more caught up in results, injuries, fixtures and the weather the Board would like to call all of our Junior (Under 13 to U18) teams together to celebrate the players, the teams, the coaches & managers and the families & supporters that come together to make Season 2025 at Athena. Due to the number of teams involved we will split the launch into two sessions; celebrating our three U13, two U14 and one U13Girls teams at 6.00pm.  In the second session we will introduce the  two U15, two U15Girls, one U16, one U17Girls and one U18 teams. To assist with catering we ask you kindly to prepay your $15 buffet style meal (by Wednesday 9 April). Families are welcome (who wants to cook on a Friday night). The Floreat Athena Junior Committee would like to invite you all to our family friendly Miniroo Clusters Season 2025 Launch.  This is the opportunity to meet the families you will seeing weekly at your Saturday games and to say hello to the coaches.  With a relaxed Sunday afternoon vibe we would like you to join us from 4.30 as we hand our your uniforms, explain the structure of the season, introduce you to the Board and Junior Committee, and run some training drills before feeding you all. To help with the organisation of the day, could you please rsvp ordering enough sausage sizzle or hot chips packages so you don't need to go home hungry.

Calling all Coaches and Managers The Club couldn't function without you. Thank you for stepping up and taking on the role of coach, assistant coach and team manager.  To facilitate a seamless (who am I kidding), hopefully more organised start to the Season we would ask that you attend our Coach and Managers Launch on Thursday 27 March so that we can go through what is the same, what is new, and get seriously stuck into the countdown to the start of the season.  If you have not already spoken to Graham about signing up to coach this year, or the Junior Committee about the Team Manager role, then could you please let us know by registering your interest through a coach or manager ticket below. Welcome to Term 1/2025 of Technical Director Mark Jones's, Football Mastery program! The Football Mastery program in Term One will run for five consecutive Mondays, starting Monday 10 March from 6:15pm-7:15pm at Litis Stadium for our U9s Academy and U10s, U11s & U12s.  The cost for the five-week program is $150. You will receive a Football Mastery training top when you attend your first term of Football Mastery. Note: only one training top will be issued per year and not per term. Please select the required size upon check-out. Please note that the training tops are a smaller fit. We recommend going up one size to your regular clothing size. Boots, shin pads and a water bottle are required at each training session. Please arrive 10-15mins prior to the session commencement.
