Welcome to the Floreat Athena Registrations and Trial Hub.
Under the guidance of Technical Director Mark Jones, players will be supported to develop their game and reach their potential.
Players wishing to join our U18/U23 NPL, JDL Team 1s and Miniroos Academy programs are required to submit an Expression of Interest before attending trials.
Once your EOI is received, our coaching and admin team will contact you with trial dates, venue details and any additional requirements.
Know your

Trials for the 2027 season will run across September and October for JDL Team 1, Miniroos Academy and U18/U23 NPL. Each age group will attend one trial session.
JDL Team 2 and Miniroos Team 3 Development selections will be made from JDL and Academy trial participants and from current 2026 teams.
Men's Metro League and Women/Junior Girls programs also require an EOI, however no formal trial is required.
For all other teams and pathways, players simply need to complete the relevant 2027 RSVP to let us know they’d like to play with Athena next season.

You’re part of the fabric of our club, and we’d love to have you back in blue and white for 2027.
You don’t need to submit an EOI unless you’d like to trial for one of our targeted squads. For all other streams, simply complete the relevant 2027 RSVP below to let us know you’re returning.
You can secure a provisional place for 2027 with a $50 deposit, which will be credited in full towards your 2027 fees. Players who pay the deposit will be given priority when places are allocated, so we encourage returning players who are ready to commit to secure their place early.
Final team placements will be confirmed once trials and registrations are complete, subject to sufficient player numbers and team availability.
About your deposit: The $50 deposit is non-refundable except in accordance with our Refund Policy.

New players are always welcome at Floreat Athena and we're excited to meet players looking to join us in 2027.
If you wish to trial for one of our targeted squads, submit an EOI for the relevant program below. Our targeted squads include U18/U23 NPL, Junior Development League U13-U16 Team 1 and Miniroos Academy U9-U12.
Trials are by invitation only, so you must receive confirmation before attending.
If you're looking to join a JDL Team 2, JCL, Miniroos Community team, complete the relevant RSVP below and we'll guide you through the next steps after we've completed trials and our provisional team placements.

Our Women and Junior Girls intake starts with an open training session rather than a formal trial.
Players will have the opportunity to meet the Technical Director, get a feel for the club and indicate their interest for the 2027 season.
An EOI is required to receive an invitation to come along and all existing junior girls players are strongly encouraged to complete the EOI and attend.
